About The Position
Life Care Center of Valparaiso is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its interdisciplinary team. The LPN delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that support patients in attaining or maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions, assigning duties, instructing CNAs, and providing clinical supervision. The facility describes itself as a 5-star-rated team and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time LPN team members.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
- Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain it during orientation, and keep it current during employment.
- Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.

- One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
