About The Position

Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide resident care, operational assistance to the Wellness Director, and support to staff. The Nurse may coordinate the use of materials, equipment, and supplies and is responsible for implementing, delivering, and coordinating care services in the Community. The role is a 12-hour day shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and includes required weekend work. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is paid incrementally.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed to practice as required by state regulations.
• Experience in direct patient care and assessments or observation of clinical conditions.
• CPR certification and knowledge of basic first aid.
• Complete all state-required training to maintain licensure.
• Able to work flexible hours due to the demands of the position.
• Available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the medication program and activity in the medication room, and assist residents with self-administration of medication.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
• Report significant incidents and changes in residents’ needs to the Executive Director or Wellness Director.
• Assist with resident assessments and service plans.
• Assist in training assisted living staff and participate in orientation for new staff.
• Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programs, and staff meetings.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing caregivers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
