About The Position

This is an 8-week travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term care facility setting in South Boston, Virginia. The position involves 12-hour day shifts, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The pay range is $1,178 to $1,205 per week. This is a temporary travel assignment with no guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Active Virginia LPN license
• 12 months of recent LPN experience
• LPN certification as required by the role
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a long-term care setting
• Credentials due by 09/09/2026 or ASAP

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies
• Monitor residents’ condition, perform focused assessments, and document changes
• Provide routine nursing care, wound care, vital signs, and activity of daily living support
• Promote resident safety, comfort, and dignity; assist with mobility and personal care
• Accurately document care and interventions in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust individualized care plans
