About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term care setting in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The assignment is for 8 weeks, with a start date of 08/28/2026. The role involves providing bedside nursing care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents' conditions, assisting with daily living activities, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (NM)
Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts and meet guaranteed hours for the assignment
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
Comfortable working in a geriatric, multi-disciplinary care environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred

Responsibilities

Provide bedside nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy.
Monitor residents’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition; document findings and report changes promptly.
Assist with activities of daily living and support residents’ functional independence as able.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans; communicate changes to families and team members as appropriate.
Ensure patient safety, infection control, and accurate charting; maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory requirements.
