The facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025 and has an RN on every shift. LPNs run medications and treatments on their unit, with on-site leadership and support from the RN team. This is a W-2 hourly per diem position with self-selected availability and no minimum hours. Nurses choose open shifts through the BRIDGE App. Shifts are typically eight paid hours, with a half-hour unpaid meal break, and twelve-hour shifts may be available. Pay is $38.00–$42.00 per hour, with experience determining the rate within the range and nights and weekends paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Pay is weekly, and orientation hours are paid at the employee’s rate. If the facility cancels a confirmed shift two hours or less before it begins, the nurse is paid for four hours. The position includes reimbursement for New York license and CPR renewals, support for continuing education and certifications, and up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward an RN. A $500 referral bonus is offered for referring a nurse or aide who joins the roster. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid by CLFC. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC professional liability insurance covers each shift. Program terms are provided in writing before acceptance.
