About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to provide one-on-one home care for pediatric and adult clients in Lakeland, Frost Proof, Plant City, Winter Haven, Auburndale, Haines City, and Davenport. Clients may have a range of diagnoses and acuity levels, including needs for tracheostomy and ventilator management. The company provides paid training and shadowing, as well as clinical support.

A high-priority case in Lakeland involves ongoing day shifts with a happy, energetic 4-year-old who has a tracheostomy and ventilator. The family is seeking a reliable, experienced pediatric nurse interested in a long-term assignment of at least two shifts each week. Previous tracheostomy and ventilator experience is preferred but not required. The parents currently provide most tracheostomy care and handle tracheostomy changes until they are comfortable with the nurse’s skills. There are no pets in the home.

Available schedules include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts on first, second, or third shift. PRN, part-time, and full-time options are available. The role offers flexible scheduling, case matching near the nurse’s home, and electronic charting using Statewise. Pay is $30–$35 per hour and depends on experience, case acuity, and shift.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid nursing license.
• Graduate from a qualified nursing program.
• Hold a current CPR card.
• For the Lakeland pediatric case, be reliable and interested in a long-term assignment of at least two shifts per week.

Responsibilities
