About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Weekend Option at Coventry Meadows. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity. The nurse will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff, learn residents’ life stories, and use nursing skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role is supported by the company’s clinical standards and processes, with a focus on excellent care for seniors. The position calls for a supportive presence, teamwork, collaboration with nursing and other facility teams, leadership that promotes teamwork, and interpersonal communication that helps maintain a respectful, positive work environment. Requirements

Hold a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.

Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
