About The Position

This is a travel, temporary assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Lake Isabella, California. The assignment starts on 09/28/2026 and lasts for 13 weeks. It offers a weekly pay range of $1,233 to $1,309 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The position is for the night shift in an inpatient hospital setting and is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Requirements

Active California LVN/LPN license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to work night shifts in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

Assess patient condition and nursing needs; plan and implement nursing care under supervision of a registered nurse and director of nursing.
Administer medications following the eight medication rights to reduce the potential for errors.
Ensure continuity of care between shifts by providing direct patient care and supervising CNAs and supportive staff.
Document changes in patient condition and nursing care on progress notes and care plans; maintain accurate records.
Perform waived (point-of-care) testing per policy; interpret results and take appropriate action.
Notify physicians of changes in patient condition and follow through until appropriate action is taken; participate in thorough shift handoffs and care coordination.
