About The Position

This is a travel, temporary assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The contract is for 5 weeks, starting on 09/01/2026. The role involves working the night shift, 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30, in a skilled nursing facility. This assignment is restricted to local candidates only.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico or eligibility for NM licensure
• Ability to work the scheduled night shift (19:00–07:30) and 3x12-hour shifts
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Local candidates only for this assignment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders, including routine and PRN medications
• Monitor residents’ health status, document vital signs, and report changes to the supervising clinician
• Provide direct care for activities of daily living and assist with mobility and transfers
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation; communicate care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety protocols, and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other caregivers to support individualized care plans
