About The Position

BAYADA’s Middlesex County, New Jersey offices are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides one-to-one private-duty nursing in a client’s home, serving clients from infancy through older adulthood, with care needs ranging from low acuity to tracheostomy and ventilator care. BAYADA provides onboarding and extensive training to help nurses develop their skills and succeed in their cases.

Nurses travel to one nearby client’s home and work traditional shifts of four, eight, ten, or twelve hours on a schedule based on their preferences. The role emphasizes hands-on care, building relationships with clients, and working autonomously in the home. Pay is $32–$35 per hour, with compensation based on qualifications. Scheduling options include full-time, part-time, and per diem, with no minimums.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one nearby client’s home according to the chosen schedule.
• Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
