About The Position
The Arc Erie County New York is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to school-age students with developmental disabilities in a supportive educational environment. The role supports students’ health, safety, learning, and well-being while offering a Monday–Friday schedule.
Requirements
- Current New York State LPN license and registration.
- One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Valid New York State driver’s license.
- Compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to school-age students.
- Administer medications, treatments, and routine health screenings.
- Support students with specialized medical needs.
- Collaborate with RNs, teachers, families, and school staff to promote student health and safety.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
