This is a travel temporary assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care in Bethel, Alaska. The assignment begins on 09/29/2026 and lasts for 13 weeks. Requirements

Current Alaska LPN license in good standing
CPR certification (BCLS) and current BLS
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; able to collaborate with a diverse health care team
Minimum education: graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program
Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination is required for travel assignments
Ability to work in a hospital-leaning setting with day shift responsibilities

Nice To Haves

1 year of hospital or long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, respecting patient rights and dignity while operating within the LPN scope of practice.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document accurately in the patient record.
Perform routine assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage IV therapy per facility policy; promptly report changes to the supervising clinician.
Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other members of the health care team to develop and implement individualized care plans; participate in rounds and handoffs.
Maintain patient safety and comfort through infection control, fall prevention, pain management, and rehabilitation support as appropriate.
Complete required documentation and uphold competency standards; participate in orienting activities and ongoing training as assigned.
