Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
State licensure.
Optical dispensing experience.
Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork.
Knowledge of current store merchandise.
Strong basic math skills.
Awareness of current fashion trends.
Selling skills and ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators.
Willingness to embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and set expectations.
Custom-fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
Serve as a leader in optical knowledge.
Take and record measurements; accurately adjust and fit eyewear; and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
Use technology accurately under time pressure and at high customer volumes; demonstrate product knowledge and use appropriate tools.
Proactively explore the root causes of issues, find solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction and expectations are exceeded.
Multitask, prioritize, and manage competing demands on time.
Strive to achieve brand key performance indicators and competencies.
Help keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
