About The Position

The Licensed Optician assists in leading a LensCrafters Luxury Retail store by building and maintaining a strong client following. The role consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience to exceed service and sales expectations and supports the Store Manager in ensuring optical quality controls are met. The position is full-time in Anchorage, Alaska.

Requirements

High school diploma.
State licensure or certification as an optician by a nationally recognized opticianry association.
At least 2 years of sales experience in the luxury service industry.
Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
Natural ability to build a client following.
Sales experience.
Polished appearance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Resourceful and results-driven.
Computer skills.
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Maintain extremely high standards of sales and service.
Meet and exceed client service and sales standards by consistently delivering an exceptional experience.
Build strong customer relationships to develop and maintain a client following.
Guide customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their lifestyle, wardrobe, prescription, and price needs.
Accurately take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and execute related details.
Ensure finished eyewear meets Luxury Retail standards for accuracy.
Stay current on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales.
Maintain presentation standards on the sales floor and in the back office.
Maintain inventory controls.
Understand and support Luxury Retail policies and procedures.
Train and mentor Managers and Associates.
Support the setup and execution of events.
Exemplify Luxottica Retail's vision, mission, and values; celebrate wins and lead by example.
Support the Store Manager in ensuring optical quality controls are compliant.
