About The Position

The Licensed Optician ensures delivery of the Target Optical Way and a positive Guest Experience. The role embraces the mindsets of being people focused, collaborative, accountable to results, thinking differently, and keeping the experience simple, fun, and in style. The position delivers sales goals by executing Guest Experience behaviors, creating a fashionable product fitting and dispensing experience, building brand awareness, and maintaining professional partnerships with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host. It also includes following operating policies and procedures, implementing approved marketing and merchandising programs, completing transactions accurately, and using available sales strategies and resources.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensed as required by the state.
At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
Basic computer skills.
Selling skills.
Ability to drive for results.
Self-motivation.
Critical-thinking skills.
Accountability.
Accuracy in measurements.

Responsibilities

Deliver daily sales goals through effective execution of Guest Experience behaviors.
Provide a simple, fun, and in-style fashion experience through the Playground Rules.
Build brand awareness by attracting new Guests from the Host to Optical each day.
Develop and maintain a professional business partnership with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host.
Model the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.
Create an excellent Guest experience by accurately fitting and dispensing fashionable products.
Follow operating policies and procedures, including training, timely and accurate implementation of approved marketing, merchandising programs and promotions, accurate completion of sales transactions, and use of sales strategies and resources.
Ensure accuracy in all transactions and interactions with Guests.
