About The Position
Care Initiatives is hiring a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) for Bedford Specialty Care in Bedford, Iowa. The facility is a 39-bed skilled nursing facility with six independent living residences. The Administrator oversees facility operations and leads teams to support high-quality, resident-centered care and operational excellence. Care Initiatives is a nonprofit healthcare organization operating more than 40 skilled nursing communities and eight hospice offices, along with an internal staffing agency. Newly licensed Administrators may be supported in their growth and development when applicable.
Requirements
- Valid Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing, or ability to activate NHA licensure in Iowa.
- Ability to build relationships and lead a team through change with professionalism and empathy.
Nice To Haves
- Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the assigned skilled nursing facility to ensure quality of care and operational excellence.
- Lead and support teams by fostering collaboration, compassion, continuous improvement, and staff development.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to maintain high-quality resident care and positive outcomes.
- Promote a culture of service, accountability, and resident-centered care.
