About The Position

Ledgewood Bay is hiring a per diem Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), with additional hours available. The position helps residents with daily activities and provides attentive, compassionate support so they can live their lives to the fullest. Duties include assisting with personal care, serving meals, managing laundry, responding promptly to resident needs, communicating with residents, and documenting observations and condition updates. The LNA works with other care professionals and follows safety, infection-control, ethical, and confidentiality standards. A criminal background screening is required.

Requirements

Successfully complete the state competency exam for LNA certification.
Ability to move and assist residents.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Genuine care and empathy for residents’ well-being.
Accurately record resident information and vital signs.
Work effectively with healthcare professionals as part of the Wellness team.
Follow ethical standards and maintain the privacy of resident information.
Pass a criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Serve meals and ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition while following dietary guidelines and preferences.
Manage laundry to maintain clean and comfortable conditions for residents.
Respond promptly and empathetically to residents’ needs.
Work with other care professionals to support an effective care team.
Document observations and updates on residents’ conditions, including resident information and vital signs.
Follow safety rules and infection-control measures.
Participate in training and education to improve caregiving skills.
