About The Position
The Woodhouse Day Spa is seeking caring, talented Licensed Massage Therapists to join its established luxury spa in Lubbock. The spa has served the community for 18 years and offers training, an established clientele, professional support, and opportunities for career development. Candidates from New Mexico, elsewhere in Texas, and surrounding areas are welcome to apply; the employer can help guide New Mexico license holders through obtaining a Texas Massage Therapy License and offers a relocation package. Massage Therapists provide customized services based on guests’ needs, uphold Woodhouse standards for guest care and safety, and work with the spa team to support daily operations. The workplace is described as drug-free and smoke-free. This franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by its management.
Requirements
- Hold an active Texas Massage Therapy License or a current massage therapy license from another state and be transferring to Texas licensure.
- Demonstrate a passion for massage therapy, wellness, and caring for guests.
- Have a professional, dependable, and positive attitude.
- Have strong communication and guest-service skills.
- Have a team-oriented mindset.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of massage therapy experience is preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized massage therapy and body treatments based on each guest’s individual needs.
- Review guest intake forms and tailor services appropriately.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining Woodhouse service standards.
- Offer service enhancements and educate guests about their benefits.
- Recommend home-care and wellness products when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, serene, safe, and professional treatment environment.
- Accurately document guest treatment notes.
- Collaborate with the spa team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Uphold Woodhouse standards for safety, sanitation, professionalism, and guest care.
