About The Position

Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Brandon, Florida, is hiring a Licensed Massage Therapist for part-time or full-time work. Therapists provide individualized massage treatments and create a friendly, helpful experience for members and guests. The spa provides supplies, training in additional modalities, continuing education, and opportunities for career advancement. An active Florida massage therapist license is required. An advertised sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 is available.

Requirements

• Hold an active Florida massage license in good standing.
• Carry massage liability insurance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, spa management, and staff.
• Have knowledge of Swedish massage.
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of additional modalities such as neuromuscular, myofascial, trigger point, pre-natal, craniosacral, Reiki, or deep tissue massage.

Responsibilities

• Design specific treatment plans based on each client's individual needs.
• Create an excellent experience for members and guests through a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Generate new clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
• Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness in therapy rooms and common areas.
