About The Position

Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Palm Harbor, Florida, is hiring a Licensed Massage Therapist for part-time and full-time opportunities. The spa is part of a four-location Tampa Bay franchise with a large and growing membership base. It offers consistent clientele, supplies, a positive and uplifting professional environment, and opportunities for advancement. An active Florida massage therapist license is required. The role includes competitive commission pay and may qualify for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.

Requirements

• Hold an active Florida massage therapist license in good standing.
• Carry massage liability insurance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, spa management, and staff.
• Have knowledge of Swedish massage.
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of additional modalities, such as neuromuscular, myofascial, trigger point, pre-natal, craniosacral, Reiki, or deep tissue massage; training in these modalities is offered.

Responsibilities

• Design treatment plans based on each client's individual needs.
• Provide members and guests with an excellent experience through a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Generate new clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
• Maintain professionalism and cleanliness in therapy rooms and common areas.
