About The Position

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager in Electrical for Facilities Maintenance Operations. The role oversees predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities across a regional area and leads technicians to help ensure buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe, comfortable environment for associates and customers. The position involves approximately 50% or more regional travel and maintaining the applicable contractor licenses in the state of employment. The role works with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, vendors, and contractors to address facility service needs.

Requirements

Maintain applicable contractor licenses in the state of employment.
Experience in general facilities services or overall building maintenance; 3–5 years is described as optimal.
Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
Leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills, including root-cause and breakdown analysis experience.
Customer service skills.
Ability to travel approximately 50% or more within the region.

Responsibilities

Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities in a regional area.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians.
Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
Work with vendors and contractors as needed.
Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and good standing with relevant authorities.
Participate in training to stay familiar with current regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections as required by applicable mechanical or building codes.
Perform reporting and analytics.
