About The Position

Walmart is seeking an experienced Licensed Manager in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance for facilities within a regional area. The role leads a team of technicians to help ensure buildings operate efficiently and sustainably and provide a safe, comfortable environment for associates and customers. It requires approximately 50% or more regional travel and maintaining mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment. The manager works with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, vendors, and contractors on facility services needs.

Requirements

Maintain mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment.
General facilities services or overall building maintenance experience; 3–5 years is described as optimal.
Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
Leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills, including root cause and breakdown analysis experience.
Customer service skills.
Ability to travel approximately 50% or more within the region.

Responsibilities

Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of facilities technicians.
Work with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
Work with vendors and contractors when needed.
Prepare or maintain reporting and analytics.
Maintain contractor licenses in good standing with relevant authorities.
Participate in training on regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections as required by applicable mechanical or building codes.
