About The Position

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area. The manager leads a team of technicians and works to keep buildings operating efficiently and sustainably while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for associates and customers. The role involves approximately 50% or more regional travel and requires maintaining contractor licenses in the state of employment. The manager works directly with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, vendors, and contractors on facility service needs. Responsibilities also include reporting and analytics, keeping contractor licenses current, participating in training on regulatory requirements, monitoring site inspections for compliance and quality, and obtaining necessary permits and scheduling inspections when applicable. The listed salary range is $90,000–$180,000, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and eligibility for bonus incentives. Individual compensation depends on factors including skills, experience, geographic location, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Requirements

Maintain applicable contractor licenses in the state of employment.
Approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
General facilities services or overall building maintenance experience; 3–5 years is described as optimal.
Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
Leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills, including root-cause and breakdown analysis experience.
