About The Position

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager/ Electrical in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area. The manager leads a team of technicians and helps ensure buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe, comfortable environment for associates and customers. The position requires approximately 50% or more travel within the region and maintaining mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment. The manager works with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, vendors, and contractors to address facility service needs, and supports reporting, analytics, regulatory compliance, permits, and inspections.

Requirements

Maintain mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment.
Approximately 50% or more regional travel is required.
General facilities services or overall building maintenance experience; 3–5 years is described as optimal.
Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
Leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills, including root cause and breakdown analysis experience.
Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians.
Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
Work directly with vendors and contractors when needed.
Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and good standing with relevant authorities.
Participate in training programs to stay familiar with regulatory requirements and perform scopes of work successfully.
Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections as required by applicable mechanical or building codes.
Handle reporting and analytics.
