Licensed Beauty Advisor - Full Time
About The Position
As a Licensed Beauty Advisor at Sephora, you guide clients at the Beauty Studio and beyond, using beauty expertise to provide service, education, inspiration, and product recommendations. The role includes performing makeup, waxing, and other services listed on Sephora’s Beauty Services menu while helping clients feel welcome and supported. This is a regular, full-time hourly position requiring 30–40 hours per week. Advisors must meet minimum weekly shift and hour requirements and be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role requires punctuality and consistent attendance. The advertised pay range is $21.75–$24.88 per hour. Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, and other legitimate, non-discriminatory factors relevant to the position or location. Requirements
- Hold an active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
- Have 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
- Have strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
- Demonstrate the ability to provide personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
- Be a collaborative team player who can thrive in a goal-oriented environment.
- Be a quick learner who can absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
Responsibilities
- Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
- Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
