About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Licensed Addictions Therapist at its Bucks location. The role provides individualized addiction treatment in a community-based, residential-style outpatient program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services. The facility partners with Crosswalk Sober Living, where clients can reside while participating in treatment. The clinical team includes therapists, nurse practitioners, addiction counselors, and behavioral health technicians.

The therapist manages the clinical needs and aftercare of a client caseload, delivering evidence-based care and coordinating with the treatment team and families. The role calls for compassionate, ethical practice that reflects recovery principles, strong boundaries, and strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Excellent observational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.
• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Valid state licensure to practice in this role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family, and couple therapy sessions.
• Manage clinical needs, services, and aftercare for an assigned client caseload.
• Prevent, intervene in, and de-escalate crises.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client challenges, progress, relapse risk, and interventions.
• Coordinate care with the Clinical Director, treatment team, and family members.
• Model honesty, accountability, dignity, respect, and other recovery principles in professional interactions.
