Licensed Addictions Therapist
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Licensed Addiction Therapist at its Bucks location. The therapist provides individualized, evidence-based addiction treatment to clients in a community-based, residential-style outpatient program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services. The facility works with Crosswalk Sober Living, where clients can reside in a supervised domestic setting while participating in treatment. The therapist is responsible for clinical services and aftercare for an assigned caseload, delivering therapy, coordinating care, responding to crises, and maintaining thorough client documentation. The role calls for a compassionate clinician who models recovery principles, ethics, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure to practice in this role is preferred.
- Excellent observational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.
- Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality.

Responsibilities
- Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
- Conduct individual, group, family, and couple therapy sessions.
- Take responsibility for clinical needs, services, and aftercare for an assigned client caseload.
- Prevent, intervene, and de-escalate during crises.
- Maintain thorough documentation of client challenges, progress, relapse risk, and interventions.
- Coordinate care with the Clinical Director, treatment team, and family.
- Model honesty, accountability, dignity, respect, ethics, morality, and recovery principles in professional interactions.
