About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Licensed Addictions Therapist at its Bucks location. The role provides individualized, evidence-based addiction treatment in a community-based, residential-style outpatient program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services. The therapist manages clinical needs and aftercare for an assigned client caseload, provides multiple forms of therapy, responds to crises, and coordinates care with the clinical team and families. The position calls for a compassionate, ethical clinician who models recovery principles and maintains client confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure to practice in this role is preferred.
• Excellent observational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.
• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Valid state licensure to practice in this role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family, and couple therapy sessions.
• Take responsibility for clinical needs, services, and aftercare for an assigned client caseload.
• Prevent, intervene, and de-escalate during crises.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client challenges, progress, relapse risk, and interventions.
• Coordinate care with the Clinical Director, treatment team, and family.
• Model ethics, morality, honesty, accountability, dignity, respect, and recovery principles in professional interactions.
