About The Position

The Department of Sociology and Criminology & Justice Studies at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach SOC 105: Introduction to Justice Studies. This course provides an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of Justice Studies, exploring economic, social, and criminal justice issues through sociological, philosophical, and legal perspectives. Requirements

  • A master's degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the State of California.
  • Must have a completed faculty application.
  • Must provide Curriculum Vitae.
