About The Position

Greystar is hiring a Leasing Professional for Prose Hayden Island, a newer 284-unit community on Hayden Island along the Columbia River between Portland and Vancouver, Washington. The community offers one- and two-bedroom homes and amenities including an on-site convenience market, private pickleball court, clubroom with catering kitchen, coworking space, fitness center, and courtyard grilling area. The Leasing Professional provides customer service to prospective and current residents, conducts apartment tours, supports leasing and renewals, and helps market available homes and organize community events. The role offers an hourly rate of $20.00–$23.00, potential onsite bonus incentives, housing discounts of up to 40% at Greystar communities, a cell phone allowance, and benefits for full-time employees.

Requirements

A positive, can-do attitude is required.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Ability to complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features, and answer resident questions.
High level of professionalism in manner and dress.

Nice To Haves

Previous sales and customer service experience is desired.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
Experience with property management software such as Yardi or One Site.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service as part of a team.
Conduct prospect-building activities and apartment tours, including virtual and in-person tours.
Ensure customers have a positive move-in experience.
Research comparable properties for marketing and advertising purposes.
Plan and execute community events.
Follow up with prospects by phone and email.
Use social media and internet platforms to market available units.
Assist with lease renewals.
Respond to resident concerns.
