About The Position

The Leasing Coordinator supports Blair Leasing & Finance’s Lease Purchase (LP) program by coordinating truck inspections, repairs, vehicle readiness, vendor orders, driver communications, and leasing documentation. The role includes preparing LP trucks for drivers, facilitating vehicle delivery and pickup, and assisting the leasing team with questions and last-minute concerns. This is a salary position; the posting states there are no guarantees for career progression.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work in a team setting and facilitate drivers’ needs and requests.
Current or previous experience in an automotive service role, ideally with CDL maintenance experience.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience working in the transportation industry.
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge of breakdown assessments and approvals.

Responsibilities

Perform initial truck inspections.
Approve repair costs, send equipment out for repairs, and document repairs.
Communicate with vendors through various platforms to ensure orders are placed in a timely manner.
Answer drivers’ questions about their Lease Purchase program.
Assist with purchase orders and track delivery dates.
Deliver and pick up assets, and perform road tests as needed.
Perform final truck inspections before vehicles are shown to drivers.
Assist the leasing team with last-minute concerns and questions.
Set parameters on Lease Purchase trucks during inspection.
Facilitate leasing documents and requests after a driver approves a vehicle.
Communicate with the equipment room and notify it of changes.
Conduct driver orientation for Lease Purchase vehicles.
Coordinate drop trailers from trucks to ensure secure vendor pickup.
