LEASING CONSULTANT (Part-Time)

About The Position

Banner Property Management is seeking a personable, motivated part-time Leasing Consultant to support Quincy Station Apartments in Westmont and Glenwood Station Apartments in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. This dual-site role supports leasing operations at both newly acquired communities and helps shape the resident experience during an important transition period. The Leasing Consultant will help create a positive experience for prospective and current residents through leasing support and customer service. The schedule is every Saturday and alternating weekdays as needed, totaling 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is $17.00–$18.00, based on experience, with commissions on new leases. Candidates must be available Saturdays and flexible to work at both communities for coverage as needed. A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation are required. Final candidates must successfully complete a background check.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or leasing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A professional, positive, and adaptable attitude.
Saturday availability.
Flexibility to work at both communities for additional shifts as needed.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation for travel between assigned communities.
Successful completion of a background check.

Nice To Haves

Leasing or property management experience is preferred.
Yardi experience is a plus; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

Engage with prospective residents through tours, follow-ups, and personalized communication.
Assist with leasing paperwork, renewals, and rent collection.
Contribute to marketing and social media initiatives, as well as community events.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property features, availability, and local market trends.
Provide exceptional customer service that strengthens resident satisfaction and retention.
Work at both assigned communities as needed to cover shifts for vacations or absences.
