Leasing Consultant - Olympus Corsair
About The Position
The Leasing Consultant is the face of the property and an initial point of contact for guests, prospective residents, current residents, and vendors. The role focuses on helping prospective residents find homes they will love, meeting sales goals, and contributing to successful resident events and community functions. The Leasing Consultant shows and leases apartment homes, explains unit options, provides customer service, prepares lease paperwork, and supports new residents before move-in. The position also involves property marketing, administrative work, responding to resident requests and concerns, and planning and participating in resident activities. The role is full-time, with rotating weekday hours, required weekend work, and monthly after-hours availability for resident events.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience as an apartment Leasing Consultant.
- RealPage/OneSite experience is required.
- Availability for full-time rotating weekday hours, Monday through Friday, generally 9 AM–6 PM; hours may vary.
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays; some weekends and hours may vary.
- Monthly after-hours availability for resident events; frequency, dates, and times vary.
Responsibilities
- Show and lease apartment homes to prospective residents.
- Explain apartment unit options and variations.
- Provide exemplary customer service to current and prospective residents.
- Greet visitors in a warm, courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and its product.
- Close sales of apartment homes to prospective residents.
- Prepare lease paperwork, obtain move-in keys, and complete additional tasks before new residents arrive.
- Enter information into the internal resident database.
- Use sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Respond to resident requests and help minimize and resolve resident concerns.
- Plan, facilitate, and participate in resident functions and activities.
- Visit locators and local businesses to promote the property.
