About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing apartments, assisting with marketing the community, and maintaining positive relations at The Reserve at Moonlight, a 294-unit community in Gardner, Kansas. The role includes assisting prospective residents, supporting existing residents, processing leasing documentation, and participating in community marketing and events.

The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The first Saturday of each month is off. Compensation is $19–$21 per hour, with the opportunity for incentive or bonus pay. Employment offers are contingent on successfully completing a background check. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a sales-oriented role.
• Superior sales ability.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Some college-level education.
• At least 6 months of on-site leasing experience, or a combination of customer service and sales experience and education.
• YARDI experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and assist them with questions and paperwork.
• Tour the property and target apartments or model units.
• Update apartment availability reports as needed.
• Process leases, renewals, and other related documents.
• Listen to resident requests, complaints, and comments.
• Collaborate in planning and hosting resident functions.
• Participate in obtaining and/or distributing marketing information.
