About The Position

As a Leasing Consultant, you will use customer service, sales, and marketing skills to lease apartment homes to interested customers and support the company’s mission. You will work toward leasing goals, build rapport with customers and residents, and demonstrate the company’s core values, with safety as a priority. The role is based in residential apartment communities and includes office and field work, frequent customer interaction, property tours, and occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
Sales and customer service experience.
Ability to adhere to a set and variable work schedule, including weekends and emergencies.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to maintain a professional and ethical atmosphere.
Ability to perform work responsibilities at locations other than the home property.
Ability to travel within major metropolitan areas and potentially attend company functions in other cities.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of on-site management operations.
Customer service experience.
Experience with Yardi software.

Responsibilities

Lease the community and apartment homes to interested customers.
Market the community.
Maintain positive resident satisfaction and retention.
Maintain general office organization.
Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and team members.
Participate in the company’s Risk Management and Safety Programs.
Demonstrate company core values and prioritize the health, well-being, and safety of team members, residents, contractors, and yourself.
Build rapport with customers and residents and work toward leasing goals.
Conduct property tours and assist residents and prospective residents.
