About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for every phase of the leasing and occupancy process at Mercy Magnuson Place. The role includes providing exceptional customer service to prospective residents and current residents, marketing the property to meet occupancy goals, reviewing certifications and recertifications, and reporting. The position is part-time at 20 hours per week.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
Sales experience with a proven track record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to operate property technology systems, including multiple incoming phone lines.
Stamina for a fast-paced working environment.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a leasing position.
College or real estate-related supplemental courses.
Occupancy certification.
Excellent understanding of occupancy standards and processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare the office and show units for guests, retrieve messages, and prepare materials before the office opens.
Serve residents by writing service requests, completing service call-backs, and following through on special requests.
Design campaigns to generate activity, cold-call businesses to generate leads, and decorate units to create show units.
Attend social events and represent the property in a way that builds credibility for the site and staff.
Manage phases of the leasing and occupancy process, including marketing the property, reviewing certifications and recertifications, and reporting.
Provide exceptional customer service to prospects and residents and help meet occupancy goals.
