About The Position

Gross Residential is seeking a qualified Leasing Professional to present apartments and community amenities. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, professional presentation skills, strong organizational abilities, and strong computer skills. Previous experience in leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service is desired, but training may be provided to the right candidate. The Leasing Consultant leases vacant apartments to prospective residents, communicates the value of residency, responds to inquiries, processes applications and leasing paperwork, and supports resident relations and service requests. The role follows a varied work schedule that includes weekends and some holidays as required.

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Customer service and conflict resolution skills to overcome objections and resolve issues.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills to maintain records and schedules.
Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience is desired; training may be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Lease vacant apartments to prospective residents by communicating the value of residency.
Provide prospective residents with information about community amenities.
Respond to phone and email inquiries from prospective residents.
Compile leasing paperwork accurately.
Process applications.
Explain the lease and appropriate addenda to new residents.
Assist with resident relations.
Facilitate service requests and forward them to maintenance staff.
Adhere to a varied work schedule, including weekends and some holidays, as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
