About The Position
Volunteer Properties is a full-scale property management company specializing in multifamily apartment communities, with 6,000 units across Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia. The Leasing Consultant serves as a first impression of the community, building relationships with residents and prospects and supporting leasing success. The role involves responding to prospective residents, promoting and preparing the property, screening applicants, explaining lease processes, and supporting current residents. Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
- Motivated, proactive, and a strong team player.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of valid vehicle insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of leasing experience preferred.
- OneSite experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Respond to leads by phone, email, and online platforms.
- Tour and promote the property.
- Track lead sources and trends.
- Prepare units for showings and move-ins.
- Screen applicants, including reviewing background, income, and rental history.
- Explain lease terms, deposits, and move-in procedures.
- Provide resident support and resolve issues.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
