About The Position

MG Properties is seeking a Leasing Consultant for Russellville Commons in Portland, Oregon. The role provides customer service to current and prospective residents while using sales and marketing techniques to help maintain high occupancy at the apartment property. The position also supports leasing administration and coordinates with maintenance staff to facilitate resident move-ins.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet prospective residents in a timely, friendly manner.
• Qualify apartment applicants thoroughly and promptly.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to support smooth move-ins.
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date rental files.
• Accurately enter rental data into the computer.
• Prepare leases and oversee lease signing by new residents.
• Assist with monthly administrative tasks and keep property paperwork organized and complete.
• Interact professionally with residents to resolve maintenance issues, handle complaints, and ensure timely rent payment.
