About The Position

Trinity Property Consultants is hiring a Leasing Consultant in Garland, Texas. The Leasing Consultant is the face of the property, providing customer service to prospective and current residents, supporting leasing goals, and helping create a welcoming community. The role includes leasing and sales, resident service, property operations, and administrative support. Compensation is $20 to $22 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for commissions and bonuses. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with rotating weekends; availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is also required as needed. The position requires at least one year of experience in customer service or sales. Multifamily leasing experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The role involves regular sitting, standing, walking, use of hands and arms, occasional climbing, extended computer or telephone use, and lifting up to 25 pounds independently or occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance. Employees must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varied weather and respond to visual and auditory alarms.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in a customer service or sales role.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
Ability to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts constructively.
Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions and respond promptly to visual and auditory alarms.
Ability to perform regular sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands and arms; occasional climbing may be required.
Ability to use computers or telephones for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Show, lease, and welcome prospective residents to the property.
Assist with market surveys and execute marketing strategies to maintain strong occupancy.
Process rental applications accurately and efficiently.
Guide residents through move-in.
Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries or concerns.
Process maintenance requests and coordinate with the team to support timely resolution.
Maintain complete and accurate resident files.
Update unit availability and community calendars daily.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure units meet move-in-ready standards.
Support property management with administrative duties, phone support, and other tasks as needed.
Conduct move-out inspections and assist with property turnover procedures.
Handle resident collections in accordance with company standards.
Participate in team functions and regional or company activities.
