About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is the face of the property and an initial point of contact for guests, prospective residents, residents, and vendors. The role centers on helping prospective residents find homes they will love, meeting sales goals, and contributing to the success of the team. The Leasing Consultant also helps plan and facilitate resident events and community functions, while providing customer service and administrative support. This is a full-time position with rotating weekday hours, Monday through Friday, generally 9 AM to 6 PM, and required Saturday and Sunday work. Hours may vary, and monthly after-hours availability is required for resident events. The initial pay range is $19–$21 per hour, with eligibility for monthly leasing commissions and resident renewal bonuses.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an apartment Leasing Consultant, or established experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing sales, restaurant, retail, or hospitality role.
• Full-time availability for rotating weekday hours, generally Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM; hours may vary.
• Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays; some weekend hours may vary.
• Monthly after-hours availability for resident events; frequency, dates, and times vary.

Responsibilities

• Show and lease apartment homes to prospective residents.
• Explain apartment unit options and variations.
• Provide exemplary customer service to current and prospective residents.
• Greet visitors in a warm, courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and its product.
• Close sales of new apartment homes.
• Prepare lease paperwork, obtain move-in keys, and complete other duties before new residents arrive.
• Enter information into the internal resident database.
• Use sales and marketing strategies to help increase property traffic.
• Perform administrative duties.
• Respond to resident requests and help minimize and resolve resident concerns.
• Plan, facilitate, and participate in resident functions and activities.
• Visit locators and local businesses to promote the property.
