About The Position

As a Leasing Consultant, you will use customer service, sales, and marketing skills to lease apartment homes to interested customers and support the company’s mission. You will work toward leasing goals and build rapport with customers and residents. The role suits driven, service-minded individuals who enjoy selling a product they believe in. You are expected to demonstrate the company’s core values and prioritize the health, well-being, and safety of team members, residents, contractors, and yourself.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Able to adhere to a set and variable work schedule, including weekends and emergencies as required.
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Able to maintain a professional and ethical atmosphere.
• Able to perform work responsibilities at locations other than the home property.
• Able to travel within major metropolitan areas and attend company functions in other cities when required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of on-site management operations.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with Yardi software.

Responsibilities

• Lease the community.
• Market the community.
• Maintain positive resident satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain general office organization.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and team members.
• Participate in the company’s Risk Management and Safety Programs.
• Prioritize health, well-being, and safety in business activities.
• Meet leasing goals and build rapport with customers and residents.
