About The Position

Western National Property Management is hiring an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Leasing Consultant for Centet Pointe Villas Apartment Homes, a 240-unit community in Norwalk, California. The Leasing Consultant is the first point of contact for prospective residents, presenting the community in a polished, engaging, and energetic manner. The role focuses on understanding prospective residents’ needs, customizing tours, providing excellent customer service, and closing leases in a fast-paced environment. The position pays $21.00 per hour and includes benefits. Western National provides intensive training, management support, marketing to drive traffic, and opportunities for advancement, including an in-house Training Academy.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least two years of experience in a sales or marketing-type position is preferred; prior leasing experience is not required.
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a wide range of people.
Initiative and confidence in asking for and closing a sale.
Professional appearance and communication skills.
Computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Current California driver’s license and car insurance, and a driving record the applicant is proud of.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desired.
Yardi Voyager experience.
A college degree.

Responsibilities
