About The Position

Premier Property Management is seeking a full-time, experienced Leasing Specialist to help manage an affordable housing community. The role involves leasing, marketing, resident service and retention, application processing, regulatory reporting, and coordination of apartment turns. The successful candidate will be motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with a team while managing multiple tasks.

Requirements

• Have 2 years of verifiable experience.

• LIHTC, Section 8, Public Housing, and/or RAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and handle walk-in traffic.
• Show apartments.
• Lease and market the community and support public relations.
• Complete guest cards.
• Process applications.
• Complete required reporting to MSHDA, HUD, and other government oversight departments.
• Support resident retention.
• Schedule contractors and maintenance to ensure apartments are properly turned.
• Walk vacant units to ensure they are market ready.
• Conduct lease signings.
