About The Position

Western National Property Management is hiring an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Leasing Consultant for Centet Pointe Villas Apartment Homes, a 240-unit community in Norwalk, California. The Leasing Consultant is the first point of contact for prospective residents and helps them find a home by providing engaging, customized tours and excellent customer service. The role involves working in a high-energy environment and using sales skills to lease apartments and contribute to the community’s performance. Western National provides training, marketing and operational support, and opportunities for advancement. The position pays $21.00 per hour, plus benefits.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least two years of experience in a sales or marketing-type position is preferred; previous leasing experience is not required.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people.
Initiative and a demonstrated ability to close deals and ask for the sale.
Professional appearance and communication skills.
Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid California driver’s license, current car insurance, and a driving record the candidate is proud of.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desired.
Yardi Voyager experience.
College degree.
