About The Position

Elmington Living is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Leasing Consultant for Chestnut Flats, an affordable, income-restricted community at 2120 Chestnut Street in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role assists prospective residents through the leasing process, provides excellent customer service, and supports the overall management of the property. The consultant helps create a welcoming community and an exceptional living experience for residents by building relationships and working with property management and maintenance teams.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Nice To Haves

Additional education or certification in real estate or property management.
Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist prospective residents professionally and warmly.
Conduct property tours and highlight features and amenities.
Explain leasing terms, policies, and procedures to prospective residents.
Process rental applications, background checks, and lease agreements accurately and efficiently.
Maintain current knowledge of property availability and pricing.
Follow up with prospective residents, answer questions, and encourage lease signing.
Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to support timely move-ins and resident satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and resident information.
Assist with marketing efforts to attract new residents.
