About The Position

Van Metre is hiring a Leasing Consultant for Aldon at Keys Crossing Apartments in Greenville, South Carolina. The role focuses on developing productive, positive relationships with current and prospective residents to maximize client satisfaction, occupancy, and retention while reflecting Van Metre’s mission, vision, and values. Leasing Consultants represent the residential community and contribute to its success through customer service, sales, property knowledge, resident engagement, and teamwork. The position includes welcoming visitors, generating leasing traffic, following up with prospective residents, conducting tours, processing applications, supporting lease renewals, and responding to resident concerns. The consultant also coordinates with the service team, helps plan resident events, performs community and vacant-apartment inspections, and completes sales administration and reports. Weekend work is required. The stated pay range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, training, and skills. The role offers potential annual bonuses of $5,000, paid quarterly, as well as renewal and leasing commissions. Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or a related field.
Ability to conduct interior and exterior community and apartment inspections in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Welcome visitors to the community, answer questions, and offer assistance.
Engage in sales activities, including grassroots marketing, to increase traffic and occupancy.
Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and amenities and serve as a resource for current and prospective residents.
Build relationships with prospective residents through phone and email follow-up, scheduling and conducting property tours, and processing rental applications.
Support resident satisfaction by checking in with residents, addressing concerns, and conducting lease renewals.
Monitor service requests and coordinate with the service team and residents to ensure concerns are resolved promptly and adequately.
Plan, organize, and conduct resident events with the team.
Complete three exterior community inspections each week and report deficiencies such as landscaping or paint needs and property damage.
Inspect vacant apartments and report needed repairs to the service team to maintain product quality.
Complete sales administrative tasks and reports, including market surveys.
Perform other sales, customer service, and property-related tasks as needed.
