Leasing Consultant (Mira)
About The Position
Mark-Taylor is hiring a Leasing Consultant at Mira in Tempe, Arizona. The role represents Mark-Taylor and delivers exceptional customer service to current residents and prospective residents at one of its apartment communities. The anticipated base pay is $20.00 per hour, with eligibility for bonuses based on achievement of operational metrics. The position requires at least one year of sales or customer service experience and strong customer-care, communication, time-management, and organizational skills. An associate and/or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Employees undergo pre-employment screening, including drug testing. Housing discounts are subject to availability at each community; listed benefits are offered to full-time employees.
Requirements
- At least one year of sales or customer service experience.
- Ability to resolve conflict and provide a high level of customer care.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time-management and organizational skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-starter work ethic.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of written and verbal English.
- Employees must undergo pre-employment screening, including drug testing.

Responsibilities
- Greet prospective and current residents and provide an exceptional experience throughout their interactions with the community.
- Conduct detailed, informative tours for prospective residents.
- Guide prospective residents through the complete application process and follow up with future residents regarding their status.
- Create positive experiences for future and current residents through email, telephone, in-person, and other communication channels.
- Maintain resident files and accept rental payments.
- Manage apartment availability and pricing.
- Promote a high-quality community experience for residents and fellow employees, taking ownership of the property’s curb appeal, attention to detail, resident experience, and overall culture in accordance with Mark-Taylor’s brand standards.
