About The Position

Under general supervision, the Learning & Development Facilities Coordinator manages training and development programs for employees and/or customers and may coordinate externally developed training programs. The role focuses on supporting the execution of programs that promote employee development and/or serve customers, including programs related to employee performance, satisfaction, career and leadership development, and succession planning. The coordinator organizes training logistics and events at Motion facilities and manufacturing facilities, manages vendor webinars and their publication on the Exceed learning management system, and supports other Learning and Development initiatives as needed.

Requirements

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and three to five years of experience, or an equivalent combination.
Experience must include managing internal and external relationships on behalf of an organization.
Detail-oriented.
Advanced communication skills.
Able to represent Motion well and honor its core values of being fair, ethical, inclusive, and invested, as a point of contact with key suppliers.
Team player.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Coordinate logistics for training opportunities in the assigned area.
Create live vendor webinar events in Exceed (LMS), record them, and publish the recordings on Exceed for self-paced, on-demand training.
Organize vendor schools at manufacturing facilities for trainees and other employees.
Attend and audit classes.
Plan training events at Motion facilities for employees and customers.
Support other Learning and Development programs and initiatives as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist with moving or shipping lab equipment.
