Leader, Marketing Partnerships

Johnson Controls•Glendale, AZ

About The Position

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced marketing activation professional to turn its existing and future sports partnership portfolio into a strategic growth lever. The role will activate and nurture partnerships—not identify or negotiate new ones—and will drive customer acquisition, showcase solutions, differentiate the brand, and create customer experiences. The work will emphasize Johnson Controls' building solutions technology, energy efficiency, decarbonization, thermal management, and mission-critical performance. The position plans and activates campaigns across five core tactics: paid media, organic marketing, digital events, in-person events, and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). It initially leads an agency team of five or more activation specialists, with potential to add one to two direct Johnson Controls reports. The role partners across Demand Generation, Digital, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Centers of Excellence, Sales, and commercial organizations to deliver campaigns and measurable business outcomes. The role also manages annual budgets and campaign measurement, aligns marketing activity with business plans and revenue targets, and develops team capability through coaching and mentorship. The posted hiring salary range is $130,000–$180,000, with a competitive bonus plan based on individual, group, and corporate performance. Compensation is determined by factors including education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
